Cerezo, Inc.–led project

Tradition Golf Club — La Quinta

This Tradition Golf Club homeowner came to us after their first landscape contractor's work didn't meet their expectations, and we were glad to take the project on and see it through. From there we led the landscape construction start to finish, using heavy equipment to set 18-foot Date Palms, Mediterranean Palms and Fruitless Olive Trees, then planting Citrus, Yucca Rostrata, Agaves and Bougainvillea and rebuilding the natural rock wall with new rock steps. We ran new mainline and installed a Hunter irrigation system with a master valve, flow meter and flow sensor, plus drip to every plant and deep watering for the trees. We added American-made artificial turf, Black Mexican Beach Pebbles and a courtyard of Blue Royal Agave and Hercules Aloe at the entry. We finished with landscape lighting on the walls, steps, palms and trees, giving the homeowner the landscape they had been hoping for.

Beach Landscape — Indio

At this Indio residence, Cerezo, Inc. built the landscape around a resort-style backyard and pool. Our crew brought in premium play sand to create the property's private beach, installed American-made artificial turf for the lawns and a dedicated pet area, and craned in date palms and hybrid fan palms, including the date palm on the island in the middle of the pool. We finished the space with column ficus hedging, new drip and deep-watering irrigation, and landscape lighting that carries the look into the evening. We built the project in collaboration with the landscape designer.

The Estancias — La Quinta

A perfect example of our work alongside a landscape designer. Building from the landscape designer's plans and coordinating with their team at every step, we replaced the old paver driveway with drivable turf, installed new date palms and diamond cut the original ones so old and new match. We set step stones in artificial turf, built a mound of real lawn in the backyard where we installed the sculpture, added gravel and boulders with aluminum edging, and planted agaves, cacti and flowering shrubs on new drip irrigation. New drain lines and landscape lighting, from up lights to path lights, complete the property. We still care for the property today.

The Estates — La Quinta

We built this La Quinta estate's landscape in two phases, working with the general contractor from the landscape designer's plans. In the first phase we reworked irrigation and drainage, planted Olive Trees and a Ficus hedge, set Desert Marble boulders, seeded the lawn, and added new landscape lighting. In the second phase we brought in Date Palms, Hybrid Fan Palms, 48-inch-box Mediterranean Fan Palms and Citrus Trees, and a triple Yucca Rostrata specimen. The designer approved each boulder and plant placement before it went in the ground. Around the pickleball court and gym we graded, ran a new drain line to a dry well, laid DG paths, and installed American-made artificial turf and Ficus screening. We finished with new sod, drip and deep-watering irrigation on a new controller, and path, spot and flood lighting across the property. We still care for the property today.
